MUSKRAT LAKE 2011 TROUT G2G
Just a heads up to anyone planning on stopping for minnows at Towey's in Arnprior or their River Rd location or Gourley's on hwy 132 at Renfrew.
Sat March 5th2011 is the annual Castleford Ice fishing derby held on the Ottawa River (at Castleford). Last year they had over 450 registered participants in the derby and are planning on it getting bigger this year.
Last year we had to wait in line for almost an hour to get minnows, so unless you are there bright and early, you might be better off bringing city minnow's.

Waterview Rd is the black line that passes through the scale on the map. When you get there you will see shack city where everyone is jigging for lakers.

Thanks Guy and Girls, oh and Birds!
Peter is going to post a near perfect way to get there.
When, for sure before the event.
Some things to consider, please.
Do you want us (the group) to supply hot coffee and coco, hot dogs, other??? at lunch time?
We can accommodate, but we will need to know later as we get closer! Think please.
Next is Peter
