As someone who followed the Mirabel project closely, I'm skeptical.
Plans were drawn... Muckey Mucks talked.. Corporate websites with all of the dates...An exit off the highway was built..
And.....eveyone bailed....
Been there , done that. *almost* bought the t-shirt.... if only the dang store had opened...
Hope it happens.... Won't hold my breath.

I hope they both open just so we can all read a thread about how disappointed everyone is in them...
If you can't find what you need at Ed's, Bennett's, Crystal's or Gord's I'm not sure what you are looking for....

Can't wait for BPS and their large aquarium.

As the fish say

I had the opportunity to visit the BPS in Myrtle Beach.
The fishing gear was mostly tailored to salt water/deep sea fishing.
Didn't bother looking at the plethora of bows and firearms but the selection was vast.
I found the majority of the store was focused on things like novelties, cooking apparel and a restaurant.
The fish tank was a salt water tank.
The only PRO these stores will have is the vast #s of stock. However, they still likely won't be able to custom order any baits etc not offered in their catalog.
So bottom line is you may get a gun, rod and reel at a good price the rest will be "whatever" is in stock.
Same complaint I think most have with Sail and Lebaron.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but for once, I totally agree with Jimmy!Jimmy_1 wrote:I had the opportunity to visit the BPS in Myrtle Beach.

Also, they don't spool your newly purchased reel with line of choice or let you cast a combo at the back of the store before purchasing, Paddletales does!

We visited the BPS in Vaughan, and as Tackle"Aficionados" (for a better lack of word, Tacklehoes is very derogative), we came out with only hooks and weights.
If fishin ain't your mission, then you can kiss my Bass!
