What do you say?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Well fellow Hawk Talkers there are some very sweet shots on here. We should all be proud. The idea of a fish-hawk.net calendar is an awesome idea and I would be happy to pay the shipping + the other costs to have one. Here is another shot of one of my better efforts this year.

Awesome year all!

:) The three best pics of the year have to be...

1) Salmons boy holding the Carp (With the Rabbit in the background)

2) Bacons ridiculously huge Gar Pike

3) Markus's early season Brown off of Pt. Dalhousie

What a year!

Year in review

Post by Seaweed »

Well I have to say that this year was made special having the new Nitro around. It made it so easy to get on and off the water not to mention from point A to point B on the water. It is amazing what a good boat will do to improve your creel count. Honest... I fished the same way and yet did so much better...go figure.

Ice fishing with the Fish-Hawk gang at Petrie was a blast. The Quinte Walleye run with Carlco was fun. The week at Nippissing was great this year and I caught lots of fish but never did get to meet Trexlunge...

My first year tournament fishing was great. Met a bunch of solid fishermen and learned a lot. Finished second place twice and overall I think I was fifth place. Hitting a bunch of new water also was great. Looking forward to next year already.

My personal best year for muskie. Catching one early in the year... and getting hooked up myself and then catching this beauty lunge towards the end of my season made it a bit easier to put the boat away for the winter.

The one thing that really bugged me was not getting to more of the Fish-Hawk outings so next year I am really going to work on that.

If you wanted peaceful quiet serene pictures I believe CCB had a couple of real beauties with the sun setting on the St. Lawrence.
I find the scenery just as relaxing as looking at fish Remember nature abounds around us.

I think there were some better ones from the Ottawa, though- more "particles" in the air to reflect the light?
