I expect my $250.00 Fish-hawk Gold membership fee back in cash (cash is King) by courier and I will be contacting the Audubon Society about your lack of bird pictures recently ...this lack of bird pictures is a real sticky point with me I have 14 Trumpeter Swans mad at me now and next spring they will probably gang up on my Springer and beat the crap out of him to get back at me, because of Bass Addict didn't show up with the camera.

May I also request that people who add birds to pictures of fish they borrowed while on the ice are subject to some kid of a fine, suspension or even worse...have to fish with Mr. J for a full day

The problem here is that those perceived as Troublemakers by some are seen as entertainment by others.

The above comment made stands out for me and is why I went back to lurking... I was not able to find the value for most of what was posted. In some cases it was lost in entertainment that I did not understand. I do like the reports that get posted, and lurking get's that done just fine. I know if I have a question, I can get a pretty good range of advise and opinions, which is great... But post-for-post this forum is more about carrying on and killing time talking about fishing-related stuff... It's not a fishing show, or magazine... and if you are looking for one you'll likely be disappointed.

I'm not accusing or asking for a change, just making a statement about what fish-hawk is to me, so maybe others can re-evaluate their own expectations and come to peace... as said, this thread, this concept, the going's on, has been happening in cycles for years.. it is a big part what fish-hawk is...

You're absolutely right! Isn't that what it's all about? Having a good time with a bunch of lads, shootin' the breeze, telling stories, throwing in some good tips and stories every now and again, meeting new people, and seeing new products and fishing toys for us to spend our hard earned cash on?

It's like an extention of a bunch of fishermen hangin out in the garage. It's NOT a fishing show, it's NOT a magazine, it's NOT an educational article meant to make you the best fisherman on the planet...you're absolutely right, and it never was ever intended to be.

I run the site and I'll tell ya now, like I always have, I'm not the best fisherman around (I know it's hard to believe, but I'm not ), nor have I ever claimed to be, as there's still lots of stuff for me to learn, but I do learn stuff here. I just love the sport so much that this is my way of getting involved with it while not on the water. It CAN improve your fishing performance if you allow it to. Get away from all the he said...she said...you're doing this wrong...you're holding that incorrectly...you ate what!....and hook up with the right people to learn new stuff. I know of several people who have gained opportunities from things they've learned and people they've met here. That's what it's all about.
