hey joco,

Don't worry about it, no matter what you find and what you do to relax, there will always be someone on your case. I wonder if those people know where steaks and pork chops come from. I don't judge people who have different lifestyles, but when a vegetarian tells me what to eat and what not too eat, I have a problem with that. Don't push your beliefs on other people. And about the dog thing, well, you don't eat your dog do you, so why would you "fish" for your dog? Ok, I'm done. ignorant people.

Best advice, ignore'em.

Some people think that veggies are "alive" too. .....Don't you dare boil that helpless carrot alive,....

That would really put a crimp on our food intake, .........no meat, no fish, no veggies.....hmmmmm,......definitely solve the overweight problem pretty quick.

Take everything with a grain of salt, ...(haven't read anything about salt being alive, .....yet)

I think these people need a life,......way too much time on their hands...

There's a nice song from the Arrogant Worms that would make you smile thinking of PeTA... it is called 'Carrot Juice is Murder'... here are the lyrics:

Listen up brothers and sisters, come here my desperate tale
I speak of our friends of nature, trapped in the dirt like a jail
Vegtables live in oppression, served on out tables each night
This killing of veggies is madness, i say we take up the fight
Salads are only for murderers, cole slaw's a fascist regime
Don't think that they don't have feelings, just cause a radish can't scream

I've heard the screams of the vegetables, watching their skins being peeled
Grated and steamed with no mercy.. how do you think that feels?
Carrot juice constitutes murder.. greenhouses prisons for slaves
It's time to stop all this gardening.. let's call a spade a spade.

I saw a man eating celery, so i beat him black and blue
If he ever touches a sprout again, i'll bite him clean in two
I'm a political prisoner, trapped in a windowless cage
'cause i stopped the slaughter of turnips, by killing five men in a rage
I told the judge when he sentenced me, this is my finest hour..
I'd kill those farmers again, just to save one more cauliflower

I've heard the screams of the vegetables, watching their skins being peeled
Grated and steamed with no mercy.. how do you think that feels?
Carrot juice constitutes murder.. greenhouses prisons for slaves
It's time to stop all this gardening.. let's call a spade a spade.

How low as people do we dare to stoop
Making our broccolis bleed in the soup
Untie your beans, uncage your tomatoes
Let potted plants free, don't mash that potato!

I've heard the screams of the vegetables, watching their skins being peeled
Grated and steamed with no mercy.. how do you think that feels?
Carrot juice constitutes murder.. greenhouses prisons for slaves
It's time to stop all this gardening.. let's call a spade a spade.
Is a spade is a spade is a spade is a... spade

as a butcher I have had to deal w/this issue frequently.
At halloween I would hang a cardboard cut out of a skeleton and hang a vegetarion sign on it.
had a few pi__ed off vegetarians
I am glad I have never had to deal w/thhis on the water.
It takes all kinds to make a world.

Weren't they great :?:

All you had to worry about was wether or not Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe, Jean Beliveau or Bobby Hull were going to be in the pack of cards you opened :!:

Most days, head to the Ottawa with my buddies for some Wally or Bass action :!: Go bottle pickin' at the local construction sites, for the aforementioned hockey cards :!:

Those were the days :!:
