Couchiching Pike

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Couchiching Pike

Post by fishinfool »

Does anyone out there know of any good spots on Couchiching for Pike?
I am in a Tournament there this weekend and have never been on the lake.
A map or some idea of spots in the North end of the lake would be greatly appreciated.
Are there any Fish-Hawkers going into this Tournament?

In the rocks at the very end, near the marina is to be good, I was told, but I've had better luck along the east side, up around the small islands. Ive got a few, in the grass's along the far inbetween the 2 islands, straight out from the Indian Marina. Good Luck, may see you out there !!

Thanks for the info, are you in this same tournament?
If so, good luck.

Not too many responses about this lake.
Either everyone here is in the Tournament or nobody knows this lake at all.
Anyway, if anyone else can help me out with some advice on spots or even just a location where I can find a map with depths, I would be forever in your debt.

Here is a link for fishing maps.

I know Gagnons in Oshawa carries some of the more popular maps. Tightlines in Pickering may have them too. I'd try and give them a call. You can also order them but you wouldn't have them for the weekend. Hope it helps and good luck in the tourney.

Hey Hoss
Thanks, I will give Tightlines a try since they are right around the corner from me.
