Thurs. Walleye report/w pic of secret lure

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thurs. Walleye report/w pic of secret lure

Post by Fishing Freak »

Took a friend out for some walLeye this afternoon.

Hit the water at 1:45.

My friend gets the first fish on the 3rd cast.

5 min Later i tie it up with my first, both were 19"ers
30min Later i go ahead with a beauty 26"er
next cast I get a 17'er
15 min later my partner get another 19'er
we missed 6 in the next hour/ none boated.
I finaLLy get a good hookset and reel in a nice 24'er
Now were back into missing them :(
after a whiLe with no hits, we move to a different spot, both naiL a fish on the first cast. :D :D first doubLe header this season :D
thats the Last of the bites for the night. caLLed'er quits, was getting a little cold with that wind.

Here's the 26'er, and yes that is the secret Lure. :D :D :D

Well, we have WIG. Maybe we need to rename you WIF (Wall-I-Freak).

Great job and that's a beauty fish and picture.

(I use jigs all the time, but they're not bringing in 26 inchers for me! )

Fun report.

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
