Myself and Mepps took a drive up the road to meet up with Trapper Dirk and Whisper Woman for a bit of back woods Speck fishing. Here are some photos of our trip:
Nothing stopped the NTO, not even MNR removed bridges!
Trapper moved a tree to allow continued passage
Finally set up a base of operations!
We kept some fish for lunch
Trapper shaking one off to swim again
River shot
The mighty four of the N.T.O.
Mepps with a nice Speck!
Speck from the lake X
Oh man did they taste good on an open fire!
3 of the four NTO
Name Trappers reel!
Another Lake X Speck
The portage that nearly killed me!
Speck with colour!
Heading out!

Looks like an awesome trip!!! Nice brookies and nature shots. It makes me want to do a trip like that into a really remote lake.

Fantastic bud. That's what I love about your reports, they're full of great fish in awesome scenery. Backwoods for sure, and I'm left wondering, where do you find that stuff in what you call "going North," to do some fishing. Beautiful specs too. I didn't get to see all the pictures, but I'm sure they're going to make your personal online album, so I'll see them again.
Nicely done TS.

Thanks Bunk, I will add a page to my site probably over the weekend. We were trying for the elusive over 24 inchers, but didn't connect on this trip. I know they are there! I know where they live! I know what they eat! Maybe next trip. I'll hit it again when the bugs are bad
Thanks for all the comments friends! Sorry to the dial-up people. This is the first time I've put that many photos into one post. I was trying something different by keeping them all together in the proper order and building the story around them.
