A day on a river

Well, I started out my sunday with the alarm clock buzzing @ 3 a.m..........hit snooze a few times then was out the door by 4.....headed up to one of the rivers about an hour north of Toronto.
My intentions for the day was to explore some old spots that i haven't been to for awhile and see if they stilll held some brown trout and to look for some potential new spots.
my count for the day was 6 on and 2 landed.....the 2 landed were drop back bows( actually they were in greatshape for drop backs, great colours and no black bellys at all) (both C&R)
At one spot, i had a nice brown on , look to me to be about 3-4 #r....played him for a bit, but as soon as he realized how the game went , he high tailed into structure and broke off
he won that one, but i know where he lives now

Another spot i was floating a worm under a bank and an even bigger brown followed it, but hit short ( that was the last i seen of him....again , i know where he lives too
)
Here's a few pics...enjoy

Here's where one brown lives...

and another....

The pics following are of one of the bows i C&R......had my camera handy and snapped these pics while i was playing him...this one cleared water 3 times, but i wasn't quick enough to snap the pic........

Looks like its going to be a great season
