Hey guys! I am new to this site and I think it's a great source of information!
I'm from Montreal, about an hour away from Ottawa and I was wondering if there was an outfitter in Ontario for some good size pike fishing!
Thanks a lot!

Tons - if you can be a bit more specific someone can probably give a better answer:
How far are you willing to travel?
Day Trip/Overnight/Weekender/Week or more
Fly-in/Drive-in?
Price Range?

I hear the St Lawrence has a few fish in it. You could start there.
Good luck.

All the big water channels and water bodies.
Specifically the; St. Lawernce, the Ottawa river, Lake Huron and then north of Cochrane and west of Cochrane.

You can FISH for big pike any where there is water. It's the catchin that's the problem.

Good luck finding 20 pound plus pike in
Eastern Ontario!
I've managed ONE in 40 years of trying (Bay of Quinte).
Methinks you'll have to plan on heading further west and north...

I've seen some pretty amazing fish come from the area of Kenora... Father goes moose hunting up there, and they bring back pictures of some AMAZING pike!!
We're talking numbers too. They catch 20-30 pike paddling around a lake looking for moose, pretty sweet.

I have been specifically fishing for large pike for the last 5 years. I have yet to break the 10 pound range. Granted, I don't get out much but if your expectation is to go out and bad a 20 pound pike on your first go, then I would be doing a fly-in to far northwestern section of Ontario. Get ready to fork out about 3 grand.
