Thanks to everyone who has posted advice for the Rideau, but allot of it has to do with jigging next to weed beds, which I have never really done, so I have not a clue where to start.

Is it better to jig off the bottom, should I be casting out and draging it, which type of jigs should I be using (Powerbaits, etc...), should I be attaching anything extra to the jigs for bait?

Just need a quick run down on how to do this properly so I'm not wasting my time, I've always really used crankbaits.
