I have read this forum for a long time and posted a few times, so I know most of you guys don't know me but I though I would share my first Muskie story here.

Well I headed out to Scugog this after noon and was looking for some bass but they just were not cooperating, so we decided we would try for the very first time to catch a muskie. So we troll for 2 minutes to a spot that looks promising and on my very first cast I caught my very first muskie. He was just a little guy, maybe 28" and 6 or 7 lbs, but now I am hooked. What a fight for a little guy, 3 or 4 good jumps where we was all the way out of the water. Caught him on a white glass husky jerk. I will certainly be targeting muskie again later this season. Thanks to everyone who offered advice and expetise on this board.
