1) Kingston Mill: scorching Sun + no shade = move on to another place.
2) Fort Henry: steep bank + littel casting room = move on again.
3) Behind Queen's residence: two carps on, one landed, the other lost to zebra mussel. Too bad it wasn't me fishing; I was busy at the Queen's library.

4) A couple of spots on Highway 2 between Gananoque & Prescott: no bite.
5) Hog's Back in Ottawa: no bite.
6) Back in Kingston, behind Queen's residence: one fish on, lost again to zebra mussel. This time I was fishing, but unfortunately, it wasn't my at the end of the line where the carp was pulling.
I got skunked, without even a line bump for two days, but it was great to be back in Ottawa and stroll through the city where I had first met my wife. We were both quite amazed at some of the changes that we saw, particularly with all the housing development. We were also reminded just what a beautiful city Ottawa really is; my wife now wants us to move back, and I am almost tempted, but the winter is just too brutal for me. Maybe global warming will do the trick.

Cheers,
