Lake simcoe jumbo perch

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lake simcoe jumbo perch

Post by top spot »

Howdy there. Just thought I'd share the fact that we ran into some really nice perch on Simcoe yesterday.Virginia Beach area.Took home twenty perch and 12 of them were over a pound.Drift fishing on east side of Georgina island. Also landed a 4 1/2 and 2 lb smallie. Green jig heads tipped with worm were really hot. Still looking for that elusive monster pike I've heard of out there. Later

Good to hear top spot and welcome to the board... I like to get up there late in the season for some open water jumbos. Looking forward to Oct. Nov. for a few trips. Maybe earlier for some bass.
