Mikey, skies are still black, and the odd rumble of thunder here, but about 45 mins ago we got hammmered with a T-Storm for bout 15 mins or so, knocked power for a few, and the rain was heavy but short, with the levels here, I hope it comes down again tonight!

I hear ya....the water is so low here...you have to back down...right off the ramp here to get your boat in the water. Lat week pulled out 3 boats with my truck....their cars couldn't get the boats back up over the ramp edge.

I noticed that on the weekend. They keep that water pretty high usually for some reason.

I caution anyone hitting the water between Fitzroy and Ottawa, the water is extreamly low. Keep to the channels when doing more than a slow troll. The water depth at the end of the pier at the launch at Buckhams Bay is 1ft or less.

and watch out for the deadheads. A new crop has arisen over the last few days. I bent a prop blade on one last night in 12' of water in a spot I thought was free and clear.
