Looking for a partner for SEBO's Lapasse tournament on Sunday. There are LOTS of largemouth on this stretch of the river. I do not know the river as well as most people but I do know where a few big ones can be caught let me know!

Well RJ sorry to disappoint but there aren't a whole lot of rockies there. If you ever make it up this way I would be glad to take you on the river and hopefully get one of those big rockies. They are very plentiful there, but i don't spend much time because of the good fishing on golden lake. It just happens the tournament I was in we weren't allowed in the lake. Next time there will be a picture with a measuring tape for ya ok.

Man I have no doubts about the rockies in the Bonnechere. I've seen them 14",and rockies are eating machines. I had two 6-8"ers in my tank but they will eat dozens of 2-3" minnows a day. I put 75 in one night.....6 left in the morning

RJ the bigger rockies we caught were on melon pepper tubes and pearl/silver flake dingers. If you are going to the bonnechere the bigger fish were caught at the bridge right at the launch off highway 60. If you want to travel the river it is fairly safe water is shallow but the only spot to watch out for is by the island stop a ways back and use tro;;ing motor to go by. That is where most of the bigger bass are and of course more rockies. Good Luck! And please cook the rockie first don't want anyone getting sick because of me lol.

SORRY, JB..long weekends means drinking...

RJ, I have no doubt that there is a Rocky in there from 14-16"...

Everyone else, leave the shots to PM's. I'm sick of reading them on every GD thread....
