sorry I don't have any recent info
I haven't been out since Sept 8th (yikes!!!) The water was low (down 2ft) and the bass were quite.
Hope to get there this Saturday.
Good Luck

rr,
Have a super fun trip. Charleston Lake was such a great lake to explore this past May; we definitely want to go back. It should be gorgeous as the leaves change.
I sent you a PM, but hopefully some more Charleston-experienced people can give you a few tips....like CCB, ganman....?

Good luck RR...... You should do well. Look deep for big smallies...... and Runnings Bay and Flat Island for big pike.

I have only fished Charleston in June, I can tell you where they were. I would say around flat island there is a large weed flat with dropoffs. Also on the southern end of wolfe island we pulled some piggies out. Best bet is to ask Ganman, he probably has some good tips. By the way, where has ganman gone?

Inline planer boards and Reef Runners...ooppps! Wrong Lake.
Have fun Roughrider... and I look forward to your report. BTW if you can find walleye in the lake that would be great
