Ok, Ok, I know, I am late again! Anyway, last Thursday was supposed to be the last warm day for a while, so Little Cleo and myself decided to leave work a bit earlier and give musky another try.

We met on the bank of the Ottawa river, pushed the boat in the water and started trolling…

We did not have to wait too long before I caught a nice little pike



Minutes later, Little Cleo has a bite, and what a spectacular bite: we heard her drag sing, turned the head just in time to see a small musky jump twice, clear out of the water, with the big lure hanging out of its mouth.





Then I had the lucky rod for the rest of the evening, catching two more pikes in the low 30ties.









What a nice evening on the water. I which it could be spring again soon!

My little golden spunky fish did dance good for us, the first time I saw that. It was a nice summer evening, back in the days when a t-shirt was enough 'til sunset...
