The Days Muskie Outing (and a few new PB's)

We had planned to head out Yesterday for a little muskie outing, but do to hurricane winds, we decided to put it off until today....glad we did.
Trolling from Sunrise to Sunset, we topped three personal bests....
Sometimes it just pays to get up at 2:30am and hit the road for a day trip....three hours from now, that'll be 24 hours straight! (you still awake dave? course you are!)
Here's some pics for ya...

A Nice thing to start off with (a few hours in of course...)
A New personal best. 41" x 17"

Daves Turn. His personal Best. 42" x 17"
And another smooth release...
One one of our passes, i got a hard thud....too hard....snag....but what do i bring up with the snag? Another Lure!!! ;D
Next Pass. Same Snag Spot. Same Snag....Nope, this time it moved....uh oh.
A New Personal Best: 47" x 24"
Took a little while, but she revived nicely, and swam away strong. ;D
(could this day get any better? Sure it could, dave could get another fish!)
Nice simple release right?
Nope.
Look at the smile on that mans face!!!!!
Nothing a little first aid can't handle.....
And that ends the best day of Muskie fishing of my life....

That is an awesome day on the water.. you definetly can't get any better than that!

A chock full o' muskies kind of day...could it get any better?
First fellow has great colors, but he's a skinny lad. Now that 2nd one....WHOOWEE! Nice!

Great job, Steve. Beautiful fish. And here I am bregging about my first (andl only so far) musky ever that was 40" and you manage to hook on several in one outing.
