First Attempt with new digital camera

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Good job, pics and flies both. Hope you have some good luck with them next year. Just watch out for benches! :)

hey nice jigs but the pics look a bit blurry but not to bad..look in the owner manual fro the cam it should have a closest distance posted in it..i think you were just a but to close..the other thing is if the on/off button thing has a little flower on it try using it on that setting sometimes it works better

LOL thanks FF.....the flyshop just opened up and they have no pink marabou. They didnt have the materials for the "secret" fly so I tied the same pattern white with blue flash

Can't wait!!!

Mike,

Your pics look a bit out of focus. Make sure your camera is set to macro mode (assuming your camera has it). This should resolve the focus problem.

Cheers,

yff,

like Todd mentioned: MACRO setting for those super close up shots. It makes a huge difference.

I'll bet you can't wait to try out the flies AND the digicam on your next outing (which might include your Dad)!

Good luck!

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
