Conditions on contance bay and otawa river?

Make'n a long drive up from Bomanville friday for eyes and crappie pike on constance bay and ottawa river, how's the ice , its it ok to withstand this little warm snap the next few days? Or should i bring a canoe :?
Meeting i few peeps from here would great also!
Any info would be great guys, thx

The ice is good to go. 13" of ice. Ive been out in the truck for a week now. Fishing has been decent the past week. :wink:

Hey Dave, Kev mentioned you might be hitting Petrie on Friday, not sure if that's still a go or not... 'bout 9" of ice on Bait Shop/Walleye Bays and 12" or so on Crappie Bay. This warm spell will likely muck things up a bit but you can definitely keep the canoe back at the ranch.

It's getting thin again at my place. I was out yesterday afternoon just outside of Buckham's Bay and was surprised to see it was only 6 to 8" thick and with a much stronger current. It was 10 to 12" thick on Sunday.
Lot's of slush along the shore too.
