Looking for Cottage Rental with Decent Ice fishing?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Looking for Cottage Rental with Decent Ice fishing?

Post by JustinHoffman »

Hello All,

Looking to get away for the weekend, with my girlfriend, my good buddy and his girlfriend. Thinking about renting a cottage on a lake, with decent ice fishing available. Walleye, trout and pannies would be nice.
Willing to drive a couple hours west of Ottawa, as my buddy will be coming from Oshawa. Any on Muskrat, or around the Perth area...
I'm open to suggestions...
Thanks in advance..
Justin

HI Justin

I am also looking for a cottage where I can do some ice fishing. I haven't found anything yet. We are looking to go in march sometime. If I find anything I will let you know. I am going to start looking on the quebec side too.

Good luck

Rented a hut from them and they are awsoem for service, they check up on you alot thru out the day. it would be about maybe 3 hours from you, maybe....but this is only the second season there for ice fishing and the perchin is pretty godsd and we seen alot of walleye on the aquaview.

Sorry I took so long to reply to this one. I forgot the name of the resort and then remembered this morning.

Hopefully you haven't made up your mind yet... and if you have maybe this would be good for next year.

I have always wanted to check this spot out. It offers everything you are looking for and seems reasonably priced.

Let us know how you did and it might get me moving on visiting the spot myself.
