What's Your Favorite Pike Lure In Spring?

I know, I know, I'm gettin ahead of myself here, but with days in the 60's here in Joisey, I'm itchin for my Canada trip in May! Many of you know I hit Gananoque Lake the end of May, so I just want to take a straw poll, what do you use? Joe.

Don't worry your not the only one. I already practice flippin in the basement
I think the number one choice for pike is a long a bomber or a rapala husky jerk!

our best lures for spring definatly have to be the rapala huskey jerk, or any other minnow bait

Gotta say, the Bomber Long A treated me well this past spring / early summer. I love spinnerbaits, too, but the pike don't always want to chase them down...depends on the temp's in the spring.
This spring I'd like to try a few more swimbaits/jigs for spring pike...

I have a 4 inch Williams silver spoon that killed for me last year. Then I discovered the white spinnerbait....aggghhh Can't wait either.

Ripplin Redfin . Jerk him so he goes side to side and watch for the wake of a big fish in the shallows .

I usually use a red devil but I catch a lot of pike on orange go-getters.

This is real easy guys....just bring Gord Pyzer in the boat and you get bit.......regardless what your throwing.

A 3" jigged Power Grub.
Springtime isn't for pike, it's for a few other fish, but they're always a nice surprise.

Since I fish in June when the water is starting to warm up, I've found that Pike take almost anything I offer. But I like Red Devils and Rapala Floating Originals #8 Perch pattern. This year I'll try larger baits like a #12 X-Rap. My baits are usually small because I use light and ultra light gear.
