9th annual Mississippi Live Release.
Mississippi Lake
February 25 2006
0700-1830
$10.00 entry fee.
Cash for 1st, 2nd walleye and 1st, 2nd pike.
LOADS OF PRIZES WILL BE DRAWN AT 1300-1330.
There is at least 25-30 local sponsors.
(I believe this was advertized in the EMC last week and this week)

Our shack has fished this derby for 3 years. Last year we ended up with a crap load of prizes.
-Polaris cap (Blacks Corners Motorsports)
-Yamaha toque (CP Marine)
-$25.00 gas certificate (MacEwen's)
-$25.00 food certificate (Thirsty Moose)
and some other odds and ends.


Always a great way to end the season. The hours of the derby are awesome. They allow a morning AND evening bite

All proceeds go to Girls Minor Hockey in Carleton Place.

any more info would be great ....where to register/weigh-in would be nice. I have never heard of this one before

Gonna be there. Good derby and lots of prizes. And I agree that the fishing times are better than most derbies.

I'll post more information tomorrow. I left the flyer at the shack and will pick it up this afternoon. I am posting this by memory right now.

We have tickets for this derby for sale at the store here. The door prizes are being drawn at Jeff's shack at 1:30 p.m. - his shack is on Cook's Shore east of Rothwell Shore. The weigh-in is at the same place. You must be signed in by 9:00 a.m. and can register at Jeff's shack as well.
My daughter is fishing this derby and who knows we may actually get out there for a few hours as well!
