Of course it says there are many different ways to fish them so I would be interested in hearing how you fish them?

The pack says you can even troll with them but I just can't see that with these lures.

Drifting the same as with a sucker.

Casting until your arm falls off.

Not sure how you would troll, I would think it would have to be pretty slow to keep from twisting/rolling. And off a cannon ball or heavy 3 way to keep down.

I'll watch for a reply on trolling.

May buy one some day.

Well then why do you throw them out every time we have fished together and not the 9 inch ones either but the big 12 inchers to boot.

DONT no if you remember a fish hawk guy,,,,is name was CRAZYHOOK.......is not a member here anymore but still on other site,,,,,,,,and bulldawgs was in is first choice off weapon for musky,,,and he did have success wit it.......

there is a lot off musky guys that docatch some fish wit it,,,,even some walleye wit the smaller version.......


but.......... ,one thing i saw wit my bulldawg,,,,there not tuff,,,after a good bit frome a big fish there a bit,,all smutch-up.....or somtime you loose the tail........but there reparable easily wit a lighter,,,,the plastic is very flexible so easy reparable,,,,,

I have seen the 12 inch work on Georgian Bay muskie, and the noise they make when they hit the water must call 'em in from two hundred feet away!

When they do ineveitably get torn by lunge teeth, crazy glue works great to fix them in a hurry, just keep a tube in the tackle box.

I've had good success with them. Drag them like a sucker, twitch or work them like a jerk bait.
This winter I found the best way to repair them. I had one that was torn to shreds by a muskie this summer. The weight was ripped out along with the hooks. It was useless and I couldn't fix it using a lighter. What I ended up doing was using an old electric soldering iron with a small tip. Like Joco said, these things melt together easily. With the soldering iron you can melt it together working your way from the inside of the tears to the outside, easily controlling the melting of the area your fixing and holding the area together as you work your way out . it holds just like new. Cheaper than a new one and you get to keep a favourite lure.

I just got mine too and can't wait to use them!

The Mr.J. special is a set up I use that is half spinnerbiat and half storm plastic pike and it gets ripped apart by the toothy guys too, but I don't repair it I just hang it on the wall, or I should say the wall of fame, doesn't bother me if I get e really nice fish and it rips apart my lure, for me it is the price of success
