Its not my fish. I would of just taken a pic and put it back. a freind of mine caught one on the weekend and was wondering what the price would be. He was going to eat it but i told him it would taste like eating old boots.

Don in all reality, your looking (At a decent Taxadermist cost) prolly from 8-11$ per inch.

Now that could vary, but don't go to the cheapest one, because it will start to fade in 5 or so yrs, spend the cash and the mount will last a lifetime!

Advanced Taxadermy, I think is the one everyone says is the best one to go to bro.

I did my trout through this guy who does it privately, he charges 8.50 per inch. It was the cheapest price i could find, he has a phone number in the ottawa phone book. Ithink the name was guy taxidermy.

Had Guy Taxidermy do a 21' smallie of mine about 10 years ago ... He did an excellent job on the taxidermy, but the mount was a "cheapened out" tho. Nothing I couldnt fix, if it really bothered me.
Still looks just like it came out of the water ..

I have both skin mounts and replicas. Replica 11 dollars an inch, Skin mount at 8 dollars an inch. the last time I was there the guy warned me that prices would be going up due to rising price of supplies.
