Trout Fishing - NY State

Does anyone go trout fishing in NY State. I'm actually from PA and was looking for a decent place to go. Just looking for some advice really. And info is greatly appreciated.

Check out the
NY DEC website. It has lots of useful info (stocking lists, public access maps, etc).
Here's another useful
link for some of the popular rivers and streams.

Hi JesseC
Two buddies and myself went down on Sunday,we started at the Oak and worked our way west to our last stop which was 18 mile creek.
Everywhere we went we saw and hooked into fish and we hit 5 different
rivers or creeks...also lots of people but we had a blast...go for it and let us know how you do...good fishing!
