Look at this crazy pike/musky lure I bought

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Look at this crazy pike/musky lure I bought

Post by Mr.J. »

Hey

I am at it again. I found these crazy things on Ebay and just can't resist trying something new.

Heck there is a really good chance the fish have never seen one of these before and who knows sometimes you luck out and get to be first with the newest best lure available.

I liked it so I bought them.

Crazy eh?

I never did hear the whole story about trolling chickens.

I'll buy you a beer and you start talking.

Was it a live or dead chicken?

I've been thinking about making some bird like topwater but keep running into the crazy technicalities.

I can remember fishing the Jock in the Red Rocket and we could see down river something swimming, we were probably 30 yards away and couldn't quite make out what is was. We finaly got close enough and it was a black squirrel and even though we didn't say a word we both new what each other was thinking.

I am not an animal hater but I would have made a mess in my pants if a big pike or musky took that squirrel for a snack.

Now trolling a chicken

Those should make a nice disturbance at the surface or near-surface, Mr. J. Hopefully, they'll draw a bigger disturbance from something big & toothy.....

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Seriously though, the fish don't have a chance with those bad boys. :D :D

I think there will be some sore-mouthed snakes out there this year.
They look great! can you share the sellers id?
