Hello everyone.
Has anybody been catching any walleye on Scugog this spring. I can't seem to find any. I usually fish the Port Perry side of the lake. Any tips would be appriciated. Thanks

It has been very difficult for my father and i to find fish anywere this season...scugog...sturgeon and balsam all havent produced..until this weekend that is..we headed out to sturgeon on saterday and got into a whole mess of walleye...about 36 to be exact and some oos bass wich is beside the point...we caught them all along the snug harbour bay and long beach...too bad they were all under 2 pounds. the next day my father went off to balsam without me and caught three or four nice 4 pounders and a few slot sizers....i know you were looking for info on sugog but thats hard to come by as the fish just arent biting out there....try sturgeon..they may be small but their better then nothing!haha
happy fishing

Many think the Scugog bite will pick up after this heat wave. We had good luck trolling chartruese Uzik spinners with a worm last time. We had to move around and find the new weed growth..most came out of cabbage beds.
