Hey Scotty

The only place that I know of (but have yet to fish) is the Diable River in Mont Tremblant. However, I understand that a 3 km stretch of the river is reserved for fly fishing only (which is great for me, but maybe not so great for you).

If you do a search for Mont Tremblant fishing in Google you'll find some info.

If you find out about any other spots I'd be pleased to hear about them.

Cheers!

If your willing to drop a bit of money, there are endless opportunities in QC for trout. You can go to a lodge where the fishing is relaxing and artificial for a lack of better words, or you can go in a SEPAQ, a ZEC or a reserve faunique (Papineau Labelle) and get some wilder trout. Re. ZEC's and Réserve Faunique, there are tons and they are all listed on the net. For each, tons of info are given on the top drive-to lakes and thousands of lakes inside these parks that have no info, that are basically untouched. Boats available in every park or you can bring your own.

ZEC's and SÉPAQ'S all have streams listed also. Plus, you can always get a map of the region you wanna fish and most of the streams that lead to or from a lake have good potential also.

(800) 665-6527 for info on all the Réserve Fauniques (SÉPAQ) and all the Zec's have numbers also.

Thanks alot everyone! Definetly some potential areas to check out for sure.

I just have one more question. Does anyone know where I could get my hands of the Quebec Backroads map book and also the Quebec Fishing map book?? I checked out all the stores around my place including Lebarons, and coulnt find these books. I really dont want to have to order them off the net, so if somebody knows where I could pick these two up, that would be great!

Thanks in advance!

Got mine at Chapters in South Keys, but I've seen it in Chapters downtown, too.
