Fish-Hawk.Net

Went out to a spot for some pan fish on Sunday. My brother, (SmellsLikeFish), his oldest boy( Tyler) and my son (Cole). First fish was a nice carp for Tyler. He fought it hard and at one point it almost pulled him into the pond. Was a good scrap but Tyler fought it perfectly. Here is the result:

Was surprised because I had never seen a carp in there and now we saw many HUGE ones. Will try for them another day..


Next was Cole's turn, he kept missing fish, could not set the hook until he nailed this monster:



We also got a few tiny OOS large mouth bass but mainly the blue gills. Can't wait to try the slop in this pond in a few weeks for some of the large mouth. Will try Dave Mercer's Rat Attack method....

Anyway, a good day out with the boys. Really hot but still fun...
