Local Pond fishing with the kids.....

Sunday morning my brother calls me up saying he is on his way so we can take our boys fishing.

We decide to head out to some local creeks/ponds so the kids can get into some sunfish or bluegills. Also hoping to get them onto some largies.

Was hot out there but it was worth it. Both boys had a great time.

Then my son managed to muscle in this nice largie. He even tried the lip hold.

Unfortunately I don't have the rest of the pics but both boys caught largies. Made their day. ;D

Was a great day out.

You know when he tries to lip a bass, he's hooked on fishing for life. Great report, awesome to see the little guys with ear to ear grins.
