Need walleye fishing report for Big Gull Lake - worm harness & color that's 'hot' or jigging or lures for the 'fast troll' - what depth, where, etc. Leaving Sat. 7/29 - thanks!

If Big Gull is anything like Crotch Lake, then trolling floating raps in 8ish feet of water with weeds seems to be very effective. Also trolling Big Os with blades ahead of them and weights 4 ft. ahead as well seem to work in deep water in the evening. The shallow stuff was during the day and there were also storms around. But apparently most people jig worms or leaches in about 20 ft of water around points and underwater structure. Hope this helps somewhat.

I was there June 17th weekend.. We had a great time.... caught most jigging leeches around the east corner of Long Island 10-20 Fow ( H4 on the Map ). Also had some on Rapala tail dancers and Storm Thunder Cranks.. just castig and jerking them back to the boat as they bounced the bottom...
Our best part of the weekend was Saturday evening 5-9pm... just prior to a large thunderstorm that hit around 10pm..
Good Luck.. send out a report when your back.
