HELLO TO ALL. THIS IS MY FIRST POSTING AND I'M NOT SURE WHERE THIS POSTING WILL SHOW UP IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS. HAVE BEEN READING A LOT OF THE DISCUSSIONS TRYING TO GET A GOOD IDEA OF WHAT TO TALK ABOUT AND WHAT I MAY BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE. A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF:
I AM RETIRED.....AFTER SERVING 30 YEARS WITH THE NAVY (INCLUDING SUBMARINE TIME) AND AN ADDITIONAL 18 YEARS WITH THE GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS AS AN ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED FISHING AND MUST SAY THAT I'M NOT VERY GOOD AT IT. I LOVE THE OUTDOORS AND OF COURSE OBSERVING THE NATURAL BEAUTY WHICH NORMALLY SURROUNDS US WHEN WE GET TO THE "GOOD SPOT". MY SON HAS A BASS BOAT AND I GET OUT WITH HIM EVERY SO OFTEN. I'LL BE SURE TO TAKE MY CAMERA TO GET THOSE PICS OF THE CATCH OF THE DAY AND WILL PASS ON ALL THE EXCITING DETAILS OF OUR TRIP. I LOOK FORWARD TO BEING ABLE CHAT WITH THE REST OF THE FISH HAWKERS IN THE FORUM.

Welcome to the boards. One thing is when you type in CAPITALS it usually means that you are yelling. Look forward to your posts.

Hi Blaker,
Thanks very much for the info on the "CAPS". I won't forget that.

Hi Wolfe,
Good to meet up with you. I'm sure that once I get on to the proper procedures I will feel a bit more comfortable. Love your picture signature. Once I learn how to get my picture set up I'll show you what the Hound looks like. Cheers.

Welcome aboard Hound, it's always great to another member, young or old, we're all afflicted with that dreaded fishing bug. :D

Hi there Kpin,
Thanks for the welcome onboard. Yes, its terrible to have the bug. The good thing about it is that up here in Ontario you can fish for nearly all year long. Can't wait till this Saturday. Hope to get out with my Son. Cheers and talk to you later.
