Hey guys, Clown worship, myself and the guys are headed for Crotch Lake tomorrow. Hope we have as much luck as we did 2 weeks ago. We will take lots of pics regardless. Maybe even a few from the bachelor stuff . We will definitely have a report when we get back.

On another note I met MuskyMatt last night at LeBarons, another really good guy. Its really a pleasure to meet people who are willing to get to know others and are eager to share their knowledge of fishing. We talked for probably a good half hour. When we get back from the bachelor week clown and I will be hooking up with Matt at some point and learning some stuff, which is one of the reasons I joined this forum. I love to meet people and learn from them and pass on any info that I can. I am looking forward to meeting many more of you whenever the oppotunity arises.

Good luck to all in the coming week, Iwill be looking forward to catching up on all your stories when I get back.

what side are you going to?i will be on small side for weekend leaving early tomorrow morning till monday camp on islands!

is the fishing good there in the day time guys? or only early mornings and nights or what?

I read at the lodge site for crotch lake that the pickerel are hitting good the past 2 weeks there,maybe cuz its such a deep lake huh

I'd be pounding Colonel Island...jigs, deep divng cranks....been there a few times, fish everywhere but Colonel Island seems to hold lots of walleye between it and the shore...must be about 30 FOW at the deepest point but we always found them in less than 10...mind you, that was always spring fishing, I would love to get up to Crotch when bass was open

We'll be at Tumblehome Lodge for the week, we were up two weeks ago and camped on the islands for the weekend.

We've had good luck with Fawn Lake during the day mostly targeting bass and pike. The walleye bite really heats up in the evenings, lots of suspended fish (10-20 feet) in 50-70 feet of water.

We'll be out on Sunday... Badger's 17 foot Alumacraft and one of Ward's pontoon boats we're renting for the day

Nice to see all the replies guys even if half are from Clown who has been missing in action this week. If anyone is up there this week, we are there for the whole week and we are staying at the lodge either in cabin 9 or 2, we have both. So if clown and I are tired of eachother I guess he will be in one and I will be in the other. If anyone is coming up look for us in my Alumacraft, full windshield and a 75 merc. optimax, Im the good looking one. Clown is the smoking one. Hope to see someone there, if not we will post pics and have a report or two when we get back. So good luck to everyone this week. And Wolfe, you have no idea how much laughing there will be. Pretty much all of our friends and my family are about as demented and twisted as I am. And Hos will be there.(read post about Bob) He is our Bob, and he is great and always entertaining.
