Anybody have any superstitions on the water? If i dont see at least 1 loon and 1 crane on the lake, i know i'm in for a long day. I'm not really superstitious, but its becoming that way.

when I fish I see tones of them so I guess it depends on what side of the fence you on when it comes to superstitions. But long days without a bite are the common place for Muskie hunters

I always dip my net in the water before I
ever wet a lure! Dumb-eh?
Oh yeah and I've got to have my
grubby old fishing hat!

Unfortunately, everytime I wear my FH hat fishing, I have a terribly slow day! I dont know why.

I think the guy who I got it from cursed it.

I'm not a superstitious guy but one of my buddies is and insist that even bringing a net means disaster. Of course he changes his mind once a 40" er comes boatside.
As for myself, (read no further Wolfe), I think it's probably good luck to mow down a black cat.

That's what I forgot to do on the weekend, I usually wet the net also. And my second superstition is not to enter a tournament with Joco if he insist on bringing a banana for lunch.haha
