Mile Lake off the K & P trail near Calabogie

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Mile Lake off the K & P trail near Calabogie

Post by Buzzer »

Anyone fish this lake?

It's just off the K & P trail/road between the Calobogie area and Flower Station.

Wondering what species can be caught here?

P.M. me if you want.

Thanks, Buzzer

Passed by it hundreds of times. Always said we were going to try it but never got around to it. There's supposedly walleye in ther I believe...

I fished there about 15years ago only caught pike and a few bass. bass were small, the smallest pike we caught was 5lbs. we camped on the far shore strait across from the boat launch it was all cleared and had a fire pit.

I fished it off and on with my dad for years... very good bass, especially LM, and good pike... never picked up any walleye... one of the better spots is in front of the rather dilapidated cabin that is across the lake from the launch..
