Hi All!

I'm heading up to Bob's Lake in a few weeks for our usual fall fishing trip. We always pass Sharbot Lake and see the boat ramp right on Rt 38 and wondered if the lake had some good fishing. The map project on this site looks helpful too.

I'm thinking about pulling the boat a day or two early from Bob's to give Sharbot a try for a little change of scenery. Good idea or not, or another lake in the Bob's Lake area to try would be appreciated!

Thanks...Mike

I used to fish a spot call Cranberry bay on Sharbot with my late ex father in law, lot of nice largemouth, very shallow in spots though. Deeper areaas of the lake have some walleye, outside of the bay

There are some good largemouth in the lake and some nice sized Pike. Walleye are scarce. Lake Trout fishing is good also when the season is open.I fished there for 20+ years now and still enjoy great fishing at times

I grew up on Bob's lake and my parents still live there. But I have only ever fished Sharbot through the ice.
There are tons of lakes in the area that have some spectacular fishing but get very little pressure most of the time. I would suggest Eagle Lake, it is on the right just as you turn down Bob's lake road. Fantastic Pike fishing, lake trout, whitefish and largemouth.

If you want to send me a PM I will point you in the right direction.

I agree! Eagle lake is definately another lake you would want to try! Silver lake is just down the road, but i have never had much luck from the shore there
