Salmon

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Salmon

Post by aciddrop »

Hey all, this is my first year fishing for salmon. I was out tonight and they are pretty much everywhere. I know they're not "into eating" right now but I also know they will bite. I tried floating a roe bag (at various depths), tried suspending the roe bag on bottom, tried a couple spoons. Gonna pick up some worms maybe tommorrow and try that, but any other suggestion would be greatly appriciated. 'cause I couldn't get a bite out of the dirty buggers.
Thanx

Hey AD,

You should try adding marshmellows to your list. They have always worked for me.

#3 Mepps spinners in chrome or orange have been working for myself and the people I've been out with in the past week or so.
