Back from BOQ

Let me just start by saying it was great to back on the Bay!!
Friday morning we arrived at Merland's to launch the boat and to see if our cabin was free, which it was not, so we launched anyways and headed into town for a quick breakfast .
After feeding ourselves we hopped in the boat and headed out to Adolphus Reach...our first destination.... in the cold rain and wind , which is Quinte in the fall
Two hours in my buddy nails this beauty
That would be it for the day
Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day, almost too nice, we only managed one more, about 9lbs. The screen was littered with fish but most were between 40 and 60 ft. and not too interested in what we had to offer. Still down a bit deep.
We ran into Hitmanhill and his crew , nice meeting you George, and they had some luck as well with a couple of beauties.
Quite a few boats but didn't see much action on the water. I'll be heading down again this weekend to try my luck again.
