Some unfortunate news

I know this isn't in the correct forum but I know by far, most frequent this area. This post can be moved to the appropriate "non fishing" forum if Mike and Rob designate it so.
After some recent medical problems, I've discovered today that I have cancer, I'm slated for immediate surgery on Mon.
So, if I seem absent from the site or don't respond to the always great threads and pm's, you know why.
I still hold the hope that I'll be able to attend the Lone Star get together but, of course that remains to be seen.
I'll see you all soon. Expecting some wicked reports upon my return!

Hey Paolo, I was really hoping to hear otherwise after we spoke last week. I am here for you if you need anything let me know. I know at least I can make you laugh with some stupid disgusting comments that you seem to relate to.
Buddy Jessica and I are thinking about you and we both know you WILL come through this. You have one of the best senses of humour of anyone I have met and I guess thats why we hit it off so well.
And by the way, enough with the Take care of my wife comments!

KPIN: It sure seems you have touched a lot of people on this site and a lot of them dont even know you...If this is the only proof of how powerful of a man you are then take this and use it for strength...I have one thing about all this to say to you...YOUR STILL COMING ICE FISHING THIS YEAR!!!Prayers and thoughts are with you my freind I have never met.

K-pin, sorry to hear man, but from what I've seen on this board if there's someone who will fight through it, it will be you. Good luck, and I look forward to hearing the surgery went well.
