I had posted a trout ice fishing report and had some feedback that had some misinformation and I wanted to absolutely clear it up.
I have never , will never fish OOS and I always know what zone I'm in and the regs regarding that zone.

Yes 9/10 are open Jan 1, we were in division 15 which starts at Arnprior and we were north of that. Only 40 min to Arnprior from Ottawa , worth the drive.
Also they are rainbows , which in div. 15 are open year round , brookies are jan 1 in div. 15.

So we were totally legal

I always check the regs , no matter where I go.

No doubt in my mind from previous post Matt is one of the more knowledgeable people on this Forum including rules and regulations keep those great post coming

like muskymike said, when it comes to fishing, matt knows what he's talking about. gotta love those year round rainbow holes eh matt??
