Anyone but me

Seriously, there are at least 3 guys on this board who would fit your need perfectly. I won't say their names because I don't want to show any favoritism so I would recommend doing a search and making your own choice but be assured whomever you choose will be a good one.

But be smart, don't fish musky with me unless you are intested in some good times fishing but not netting, at least when it comes to musky.

I'd suggest Kert Lavigne (great guy) or Bill Craig (despite what everyone thinks of him.....he catches fish...I've seen a few tanks with my own eyes)...in the Ottawa area...

John Anderson is another quality long time guide....he gave a presentation at the last MCI meeting I attended....very knowlegable and likable guy...

For a shot at a huge fish....Marc Thorpe is the man....but he's in the far east end of the Ottawa....closer to Montreal...

I would have to say the best time to get a nice muskie would be in the fall when the big girls start to put on the feed for the winter. Too much stress gets put on them in the summer due to the heat. I like seeking them in the cooler months in the cooler water. I had six of them on last season, had 1 to the boat, which my old fishing partner promptly lost, (but I got to see her, and she was beautiful) and raised five more. All of them hooked in cold water. Good luck!

I hear these are some good guys supporting this site.

BTW good size muskies can be caught ( well some of us do catch then regularely) from opening day untill ice out.

I preffer the first half season for more action and big fish and last half for supertankers.
