Ice thickness(make a list)

I was going to ask if anybody knew how thick the ice on muskrat was then I thought it might be good to have a list that people can post thickness from different area's.
IF you have any body's of water around you and you know the ice conditions, post em!
Petrie Island
Crappie bay 5-6"
Bait-shop Bay 5-6"
walleye bay unknown

I was at a few lakes in the Wakefield area, 6"-8" there.

good ideal to have a list.
but we just to warn people that,,,,,,that it might not be the case all over the place itself.....
like there is a 6inch at petrie.......but not all over at petrie.
and that snow we just got,is BAD NEWS FOR ICE,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
it serv as in insulation...it wont get tick as fast.
and that snow is a bit dangerous.......because now compare to 2 days ago.we wont see anymore the real danger.......it was nice to see the ice and the thin spot now.....its all white.........
please be carefull.............under that snow it could be real ''thin'' ice...

Got about 8"at Crappy Bay now but the water level came up so you will need Rubber Boots to get up on good ice. Ended up with pretty good soaker today.

The main channel jammed with ice during the cold snap
I got out yesterday and the first step was a wet one.
Thank god for rubber boots.
By the time I got off the ice......
The water levels had risen considerably, almost up to my van wheels
(which was parked on shore my wife just accused me of driving on the ice.. Just want to clarify)
In fact the road at walleye bay was half submerged in water when I left
It would not suprise me if the entire road was covered by now...
The ice jam is the culprit
Just because you got on does not mean you'll get off
BTW 2 hammerhandles, bunch or cigar size walleye/sauger

Finally got out on Walleye Bay at Petrie today. Got skunked but was fishing blind without electronics.... my Markum hasn't arrived yet. On a brighter note my Clam Fish Trap Pro and gas auger are great.
Glad that I didn't venture out too far.
There is a very poor 5" of ice where I was. I thought that it would have been better after the cold weather we have been getting.
Didn't see any fish hit the ice.

The Bay of Quinte is reporting approx 4-5 inches of ice in sheltered areas, but there is alot of current so I would suggest that if you don't know where you are going don't venture out for a few more days.
