Hey all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the use of frozen sardines as bait is legal. I remember reading am article one time about using them and how they worked good because of their bery reflective scales but I can't find the article anymore and it doesn't list sardines at all in the regulations.

i no sardine is good for pike and or even smelt for lakers.

one thing i no i use them...

i use for bait live minnows.......dead huge minnows..smealt..sardine,,sharks,,piece the skin is very tuff...or some piece off maquerel for cats...very oily and smelly.
