After fishing at Long Island Lock for the morning, my car was stucked in the snow. Tried several times back and forth., still couldn't get it out. This gentle man with his pickup saw I was stucked there, It took him no time to come over to help me . He gave me some instruction and helped me pushed my car out. I didn't get your name. but I will remember all the help from you. I just want to say thank you very much for your help, you made my day a better day.

This happened to me too yesterday. Big Thanks to Chad on Shirley's Bay for pushing me out with his plow. Also thanks for plowing the ice roads at Shirley's! Very kind!

I thought I had nearly dug my car out, but after getting the push I realized that I would have never has gotten out on my own.

My wife and son had ice fly off a truck headed the opposite way on a busy 2 lane highway Valentine's day. Shattered the windshield. Only minor cuts but nobody stopped to help. Fortunately they had a cell phone and police/rescue squad got there in 10 minutes. They're doing fine now.
It's refreshing to hear the good stories of people helping people.
