Hey...that guy cropped his head on my body... I only wish I could catch something like that...My biggest pike is 6lbs... caught it on the Miss last year.

Anyone know why European pike seem to grow so big? It seems like every year there's a picture or two of a 50lb+ pike being caught over there, and its all over - Germany, Netherlands, now Italy.

Those European pike sure are something else. This one was sent to our old old old gallleries back in 2001 I think. It was caught in Slovenia and was reported to be running more than 25 kgs.

It doesn't look to be as big as the one IanD posted.
