Hi dipthenet,
Kinston Mills is located just north of Kingston, Ontario on the Rideau Canal. Google "kingston mills" for more info.

I have been in past and I would not say the perch are a good size.
I usually just use worms, or berkly gulp worms... when I get bored I sometimes work a jig or small spinner with a worm.
I do it for fun, not the feast.

Gonna have to agree with you there mdej, I have never seen a "big" perch come out of there, although that's not to say they aren't there.

We caught a pile of wee ones Kingston Mills (lower lock) last Friday... they are runing in full force now... There were a few odd larger ones... but the majority were all within 6-7"
