I was there last Sunday afternoon. There were fishermen on the east pier and along the banks below the railroad bridges. There was only a little ice along the banks. The river was flowing high, dirty and free. The action appeared slow along the banks but out on the pier I saw 2 steelhead caught in 10 minutes while I was watching. The pier was covered in ice\packed snow. This week has been mild so that might be mostly gone now.
Good luck.
