Black Donald Creek

Excited about fishing soon and want to check out a new spot. Black Donald Creek looks good in the Map Book but nerver been. Anyone have any stories about this place near calabogie? Also, anyone know if the lakes up there are still frozen?

Shiner Lake is still frozen as of yesterday. Black Donald creek used to have brookies and may still have but I haven't heard anyone catching.

Black donald creek is fished out. Spent a few weekends and caught nothing. Locals say overfishing,logging and beaver dams killed it. To bad it is a nice river.

Depends which part you tried to fish. Anything close to the lake is not productive.

Tried there this year and struck out for brookies and wish I had a four wheeler.

there are some places that are fished out dont get me wrong but people say black rapids is fished out well keep saying that cuz thats more fish for me!!!, places dont get thier names for no reason so just remember that
